SAE Power Earns International Automotive Quality
Recognition

CA) SAE Power Devices (HK) Ltd., located in Hong Kong, has been awarded
an ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management System certificate by the TUV CERT
Certification Body of TUV Industry Service GmbH TUV Rheinland Group.
SAE Power
Devices (HK) Ltd. has demonstrated effective implementation of a quality
management system that satisfies the tough new auto standard: ISO/TS
16949. The certification shows our automotive customers that SAE Power
Devices (HK) Ltd is committed to being a long term supplier of quality
goods and services.
ISO/TS
16949:2002 is a harmonized international process-orientated Quality
Management System automotive standard that combines the requirements of
ISO 9001:2000, QS-9000 and several other international automotive
requirements. ISO/TS 16949: 2002 was only recently presented by the
International Automotive Task Force (IATF). It represents the efforts
of a joint working group comprised of the IATF and the ISO Technical
Committee (ISO/TC 176) as well as their subcommittees. This standard
unites the quality requirements that exist worldwide, and is recognized
by both American and European automobile industries.
