has manufacturing facilities in North America and Asia.
Multiple facilities ensure our customers continuity of
supply and the capacity to meet upside demand.
Our Toronto facility is geographically convenient for
customers with North American design centers. This 50,000
square foot facility is ISO 9001 certified and BABT 340
approved. Manufacturing capabilities in Toronto include both
PTH and SMT lines and the site is dedicated to power
supplies and contract manufacturing.
There is more than 100,000 square feet of manufacturing
space in our China facility. This ISO/TS 16949:2000 and ISO 9002
registered factory meets all UL, CSA and BABT approvals. A highly
skilled workforce and modern automation allows SAE Power to
manufacture even the most complex components in this
facility.
SAE Power is committed to ensuring the highest levels of
quality. Closely monitored processes ensure consistency in
purchasing, receiving, manufacturing, testing, packaging and
shipment. Our manufacturing procedures include 100% testing;
functional test, burn-in, Hi Pot and final ATE stages of
production. QA inspectors perform sample audits at the
Incoming Inspection, Auto Insertion and post Wave Solder
stations.
Statistical Process Control, Quality Circles, equipment
calibration procedures, on-going staff training and rigorous
ESD control are all in place to maintain the highest quality
standards possible. An on-line Documentation system ensures
that the factory floor always has the most up-to-date
documentation.
